The last few years at Maschinenfabrik Johann-Leimbach GmbH (hereinafter “Leimbach”) were very much characterized by innovation and growth. To continue this extraordinary development, it must be ensured that we have the right people at every level of the company who are willing to and can take responsibility.

As Leimbach, we are about to complete the acquisition of the majority stake in the Portuguese mechanical engineering company INESE Lda. This acquisition will open a new chapter in the 100-year history of Leimbach and is the beginning of upcoming possible mergers or strategic alliances that will exclusively contribute to Leimbach's core business.

To implement this strategy, it is necessary to have experienced people in the management team. For this reason, I am delighted that we have been able to recruit Jose Fernandes as a member of our management team. After closing the purchase of INESE Lda. Jose Fernandes will be appointed as Managing Director INESE Lda. in Portugal.

Within the Leimbach management team, Jose Fernandes will assume responsibility for "strategic projects", mainly with a focus on organizational development and expansion.

Jose Fernandes is an engineer by training and has 20 years’ experience in “Global Strategic Purchasing” for a multinational cable manufacturer. He has extraordinary expertise in the field of cable production, a high level of social competence and good leadership skills. Jose Fernandes is an asset to both companies in every respect.
